George discovered the way of the drum in the early nineties when he frequently found himself in places where spontaneous drum circles were known to break out! Reared on handdrums, and precociously aware of worldbeat, George is largely self taught. He played in several amateur and professional Chicago area bands over the years, culminating in a performance with "The Waking" at the historic Vic Theater, before moving to California and beginning the arduous task of co-founding a ground breaking Jam Band (that would eventually become known as "The Jambalaya") in 2003. With a very eclectic appreciation for music, George approaches the trap set from a somewhat different perspective than many drummers who have a background in rock.
